Travel Vaccine

As of the 01st October 25 Vernon Park surgery will no longer provide full travel health services, including risk assessments and private travel vaccinations.
We will continue to provide the following NHS-funded vaccines where clinically indicated for travel:
Hepatitis A , Typhoid , Diphtheria/Tetanus/Polio (combined Td/IPV) These will only be provided upon written request from a travel clinic or when travel advice has already been obtained externally, and recommended

If the clinic advises you need any NHS-funded vaccines , they will inform you. We can then provide those on NHS terms if appropriate and this need to be booked at least 4 weeks before travelling date to make sure we have supply. The nurse has the right to decline giving the vaccine if not enough notice given
